Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 | Review Nvidia may call its newest release, the GeForce GTX 670, a video card, but another term might be more appropriate: AMD killer. It’s tough to think of many other useful ways to describe this product, which doesn’t just employ the impressive technologies Nvidia introduced on its Kepler-based top-of-the-line single-GPU card, the GTX 680, a couple of months ago, but does so with performance and at a price ($399 list) that give AMD’s flagship card, the Radeon HD 7970 , a serious run for its money—and threatens to steamroll the same-priced Radeon HD 7950 altogether. Though you’ll still need to pony up an extra Benjamin to get the fastest-of-the-fastest GTX 680, those who want to keep a little of their cash—and can live with a little less speed—will find the GTX 670 unusually compelling.
